WHAT TO PACK

  • toothbrush & toiletries
  • groceries (the fridge is about half the size of a standard one)
  • charcoal for the grill
  • ice
  • warm clothes to sleep in
  • bathing suit for the hot tub
  • hiking shoes
  • hiking clothes
  • beverages/water
  • dog food & your dog!

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Bring your own groceries, the nearest grocery store is far away. This includes ice & charcoal for the grill.

There is a small hardware store, called Sunshine Summit, about 10 minutes from the rental. You can purchase charcoal and ice there if you forget to bring it.

It can get cold at night so bring something warm to sleep in.

The yard is fully fenced so your dogs can roam free. But be aware that there are snakes, spiders, foxes, coyotes, and bobcats in the area.

The fridge is not large, so don’t bring too many perishable items.

The pizza oven makes a delicious pizza! Don’t forget to bring the ingredients.

SPECIAL TOUCHES

Fresh cut roses, candles, lanterns, heated bed, & most of the furniture is hand-made by the owners.

The chain link fence will be open, so you pull into the gravel lot, poke past the patio and through a screen door.” -UTSanDiego.com | restaurant closed on Tues & Wed

Julian Pie Company 21976 Hwy 79, Santa Ysable (760) 765-2400 FAMOUS PIES sold all over San Diego County. Definitely worth a pie tasting trip!

It looks so big. I would never guess that it is just a tent. The place is really gorgeous! I like this post very much!
