My Experience

From the moment my husband and I stepped into the open air check-in area, we were in awe.

Perched high up on a cliff, looking down on thick jungle-covered hills, with the ocean as its backdrop, we were immediately greeted with champagne and escorted to our private, island-style villa. I opened the door to a beautifully decorated al-fresco paradise complete with our own private infinity pool and panorama views of Laem Yai Bay, Koh Phangan, and the Gulf of Siam.

I found that a bath had been drawn for us, which was sprinkled with rose petals and surrounded by candles.

The luxurious bathroom was just as big as the bedroom. There was a lovely outdoor deck with a king sized chaise, where we ordered from the fabulous room service menu and enjoyed a romantic dinner under the stars.

My spa experience at the Four Seasons Koh Samui was hands down, the best spa experience I’ve ever had.

The massage rooms were private bungalows nestled in the jungle, each with a private indoor and outdoor shower, indoor and outdoor massage beds, and a private steam room. I confess I’m a bit snobby when it comes to a good massage, but this was heaven! It started with a lime and sea salt foot scrub, which was absolutely wonderful and sent me off into a space of deep relaxation.

I love Thai food and at this hotel I was in for a real treat.

The peanut sauces, spices, and fresh local produce put me into palate heaven.

The concierge was the kindest little woman ever, and was more then accommodating. Our favorite activities booked with the Four Seasons in Koh Samui were a private yacht trip to Ang Tong National Park, (click links to see my reviews and photos of these trips) and a day trip to Na Muang Falls.
