Hot off the press from my home office.
“I’ve always had a vision. A vision to capture and share the most beautiful places on earth. It’s what I live for.” These words were spoken by master photographer, Peter Lik, whose images undoubtedly transport the viewer right into nature’s most astonishing landscapes. Last year I told you about Lik’s book, “Equation of Time”, and this year I’d like to introduce you to LIK Squared, an online store where you can select and purchase your favorite ready-to-hang acrylic prints.
In case you missed my previous post, Peter Lik is an Australian born landscape photographer who is known for his brilliant and vivid images of the planet’s most mesmerizing scenes. Lik’s fine art photography has won many awards and has been featured on display at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History. He also starred in the NBC TV series called “From the Edge with Peter Lik”. To date, Lik has sold over $500 million worth of photographic art to his fans and avid collectors. In 2014, Lik set the record for the most expensive photograph ever sold. It was a black and white image called “Phantom”, and it went for a whopping $6.5 million.
LIK Squared brings us a more affordable option, allowing admirers to select and purchase their favorite gallery inspired prints. These are described as “powerful glimpses of beauty, vividly exposing texture, shape, and color.” There are many categories to chose from, including popular abstract, vintage, coastal and desert scenes. The prints are available in three square-shaped sizes (hence the name) and are printed on Fujiflex Crystal Archive Media, which is a polyester-based printing material. This method uses a true photographic process that reveals razor sharp details, has outstanding image quality, and exceptional surface gloss. Each print comes ready-to-hang and is protected by two laminated layers of Crystal Clear Acrylic. Prices start at $49 making this a very accessible option for those looking for chic and striking wall decor.
LIK Squared by Peter Lik has something for all different tastes and is a great place to buy someone a gift, although I couldn’t resist selecting a few pieces for myself. Prints can be found in almost any color scheme, but my house is decorated in shades of white and gray, so I figured I’d better stick with the theme. I quickly fell in love with three softer colored pieces and had them shipped out to my home. They arrived in perfect condition and now they hang in my home office where they will inspire me on a daily basis.
This article is sponsored by LIK Squared, however the opinions expressed in this article are, as always, my own.
