Surround yourself with all things “Zen”
This stellar luxury boutique resort boasts hip vibes and maximum privacy. With an intimate setting of only 21 private villas, each one offers drool worthy ocean views and private salt water plunge pools. These lovely villas are extremely serene and offer a healthy splash of color and character. After an activity-filled day, experience the heavenly sunsets that Costa Rica has to offer. My suggestion is to do it from the comfort of your own plunge pool, cocktail in hand. A totally zen moment that will linger in your memory for a long time.
Socialize in paradise
The common areas of the resort are picturesque in every sense of the word. Providing a minimalistic contemporary design, my favorite area is the stunning zero-edge infinity pool. Here, plush seating, daybeds and lounge chairs create a cozy, yet swanky environment to surrender to the ocean views and fresh Costa Rican breeze. Additionally, there is a private pool cabana that is available to rent at an extra fee. Be certain to stop into Sentido Norte Restaurant & Lounge, which provides guests with an incredible sunset bar scene and tasty meals with a view. The food here was delicious! I especially enjoyed the many healthy vegetarian-friendly menu options they provided.
Endless adventures await
After soaking in all that relaxation, you can take it up a notch with the long list of adventures available to you. Indulge in a memorable beach horseback ride or hike through the tropical landscape. Take to the sea for a private surf lesson, or one of the many boat and fishing excursions. With so many adventurous options, your only problem will be not enough time to do them all!
Wellness focused, Costa Rican style
Casa Chameleon luxury boutique resort is all about the stress free lifestyle. Offering yoga mats and and small weights in every villa, relaxation and wellness are built into the guest experience. Guests can also schedule private yoga and fitness sessions as well. Further your relaxing experience by enjoying an array of salon and spa services, brought straight to your villa. How convenient and delightful!
Experience the beauty of Las Catalinas
Casa Chameleon is the first hotel built in the new area of Las Catalinas. This small town is just a 45 minute drive from the Liberia airport, and is charming to say the least. One side is blessed with beach views as far as the eye can see and the other is covered in tropical forests and valleys. A stroll through this little town will give you all of the “pura vida” feels! This area is still up and coming as it slowly expands. Come and enjoy this small town while it’s still an undiscovered secret.
Casa Chameleon at Las Catalinas in summary
Seeing as this is an intimate adult-only property, it is best suited for couples or small groups. This would also make an amazing location for a small wedding or honeymoon. Costa Rica is such a wonderful country with endless natural beauty at every turn. I loved the mixture of pure relaxation and adventurous activities. It made for the perfect zen getaway during a whirlwind of back to back travels. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a blend of peaceful luxury with plenty of land and sea adventure to satisfy the wild within.
